Mile 142: It's now the middle of the night. The stomach problems have begun but Kevin is soldiering through. Hope they start early and end early!!!

As the sun sets on the California horizon, Kevin is closing in on the Arizona night. The cross winds are a little stiff but it's comfortably cool. Progress is good.
I think Kevin is happy with the progress as well.

@ mile 67. Kevin looks good!; has had some good favor with some tail winds after some head winds out of Borrego Springs. Lots of grape soda!

Update

Kevin has made it through Borrego Springs, CA and is on his way Brawley,
CA. He is handling the heat fairly well. He had a rough cross/head wind,
but it turned to a tail wind. Keep checking for more updates, please
comment as we read these to Kevin. Thanks.

Kevins just passed time station #1. He feels good and is handling the heat well so far. It will be much hotter tomorrow. He is riding at a nice conservative pace and is in good spirits.
